About Us
Steel Horse has been playing on Long Island and the New York area since
the 90's.
We have played all the major clubs from The Inn in Long Beach to the
Cinnamon
Tree in Greenport. We are a Party Rock Band, and Play Rock Party Music.
We rehearse at least
once a week, and keep things tight and professional. We play to have
fun, but the music
is always serious! We have a our own sound system and are able to play
most small
clubs, pubs, and bars with it. The larger venues and festivals we play
need to have
a system that will work for that situation. We are also available to
play private parties.

what we do. We have a mailing list, and send out announcements of every
show
we play (Unless private party).

Kim Kuperschmid has been singing since she was a little girl. Always in church choirs , school & district chorus. She has many awards with NYSMA. It's no wonder that Kim has sung background on major Rock and Hip Pop albums for artists such as Scatterbrain, The Fat Boys, Run DMC. Kim has been rocking the New York State area for over 10 years with her silky strong vocals. Her Stage prescence is sweet and her guitar playing is the perfect compliment to any musical situation! |

Vincent John has been playing bass in various Long Island bands since the 1980’s. His musical influences include The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who, and Yes. Throughout the past three decades, Vincent has divided his time between music and acting. He has appeared in a few local commercials and has performed in local and regional theater. Vincent loves writing and recording music. He has a passion for performing live. |

Peter Kuperschmid has
been playing guitar since he is 9. He is also a Producer and Engineer
who has worked with artists such as Joan Jett, Billy Joel, Run
DMC, Zebra, Christina Aguilera, LA Guns, Dee Snider, 3rd Base,
Public Enemy, to name a few. Peter has been written up in many news / web articles for his skills as a guitarist and producer. He brings an arsenal of talent to Steel Horse as a Guitar Player and Singer. |

Mike Nackman is truly a seasoned professional. He started playing drums at age 11. In his mid 20's he was signed to a major label record deal and toured around the world. Mike is a rock hard consistant drummer with a lot of soul and feel. His styles range from John Bonham to Stewart Copeland. His versatility is perfect for a classick rock cover band! |
